Your first visit begins with a thorough consultation to discuss your diagnosis and treatment options. A friendly team member will take digital X-rays and intraoral photos as prescribed by Dr. Mallak. Next, a comprehensive periodontal (gum) exam will be conducted as part of our detailed evaluation. These images are displayed on a 40-inch TV, allowing Dr. Mallak to review your results with you in real-time. She will then recommend the appropriate dental cleaning and any necessary treatments. If time permits, we can even complete your cleaning during the same visit.

Dr. Kamelia Mallak
Dr. Mallak is a highly experienced dentist who has been serving the Long Beach community for 15 years. A proud alumnus of UCLA, Dr. Mallak earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology before completing a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at USC.
Dr. Mallak is a dedicated member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), and Harbor Dental Society, reflecting a commitment to excellence and staying at the forefront of dental care. Passionate about continuous learning, Dr. Mallak has completed extensive continuing education and is a member of the Academy of Clear Aligners and the Academy for Sports Dentistry. Dr. Mallak specializes in addressing the dental needs of athletes, with expertise in preventing and managing sports-related dental injuries, ensuring athletes are protected and prepared for their activities.
